(put into our words…ripped from ‘The Stop”) We welcome food donations that are fresh, wholesome, nutritious, and rich in the kinds of good ingredients you would want in your own home.

Pantry Top 5

canned meats (salmon, chicken, ham, tuna), pasta and pasta sauce, canned vegetables and fruits, instant dinners, canned tomatoes, cereal, spices and tea.

We prefer to receive cash donations in order to purchase perishable items such as dairy, meat and eggs.

No dented, expired or unlabelled food, please!

Food donations for the Shelbourne Community Kitchen are gratefully accepted at the following locations:

  • Shelbourne Community Kitchen, 3541 Shelbourne St, Tuesday-Friday 10am-2pm
  • Lutheran Church of the Cross, 3787 Cedar Hill Rd, Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm
  • St. Aidan’s United Church, 7307 St. Aidans Rd, Monday-Friday 10am-3pm
  • Curves, Oak Bay, 2545 Musgrave St, Monday-Friday 6am-7pm, Saturday-Sunday 9am-11am
